IPL 2016: England’s Chris Jordan all set to join RCB

first_imgEngland pacer Chris Jordan will be joining Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) as a replacement for injured Mitchell Starc. RCB’s weak bowling attack will be boosted by Jordan joining the squad, who was part of the England side that made into the finals of recently concluded World Twenty20.Jordan is expected to leave his county side Sussex and join RCB immediately, with his chances of making the Test squad for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka looking bleak. In the limited-overs formats, Jordan is considered as England’s best bet in death overs for his variations. However, during the IPL auction in February, Jordan was ignored by all the franchises. According to a report in ESPNCricinfo, Jordan’s county side Sussex are not happy with the bowler’s decision, having already missing out on opening round matches due to injury.last_img
